Dwayne Johnson is putting his feud with Vin Diesel aside to return to Fast & Furious.
The Rock confirmed his return to the role of Luke Hobbs in Fast X: Part II in a video posted to Twitter overnight, revealing just how he and Diesel got passed their differences.

“I am 100% confirming to you guys, that yes, it is true,” he said.
“Hobbs is back. Hobbs is back in the Fast & Furious franchise.
“That was a secret that was hard as hell to keep.”
He also told fans he and Vin Diesel had put their differences aside for the sake of the franchise.
“Despite us having our differences, me and Vin, you know we’ve been like brothers for years,” he said.
“Despite having our differences… we’ll lead with brotherhood and resolve.
“So yes, cannot wait.”
The two actors have been openly feuding for years.
Their beef became public in 2016, when Johnson criticized his male co-stars in the franchise.
“There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ‘em. My male co-stars, however, are a different story,” he said.
“Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t.
“The ones that don’t are too chicken to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.”
While he didn’t name Diesel specifically, there was no doubt about who he was referring to.
The feud escalated to the point where Johnson said he would not return to the Fast franchise.
So, his announcement has been very welcome news to his fans.

Johnson also teased viewers could expect more interaction between his character Hobbs and Jason Momoa’s character, Dante.
“If you thought that The Rock versus Stone Cold Steve Austin headlining three wrestle manias was earth-shattering, wait til you see what happens when Dante and Hobbs collide,” he said.
