James Bond has always been known for his impressive and extravagant car collection, and Aston Martin might just be the star of that show.
These vehicles also include some of the rarest and most sought-after vehicles to ever be made.
However, there’s one particular car that not even the legendary spy himself could get his hands on – the one and only Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato.

Rare Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato
This car is considered to be the most exclusive piece to be ever made by Aston Martin.
Only 19 of these luxury pieces were ever made, but none of them were ever featured in any James Bond film, despite its desirability.
Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato is not just rare because of its limited number, but also for the rich history attached to it – especially the 14th model.
This model was delivered to Australia in 1962.
The car instantly became famous for having a remarkable racing career by stealing numerous victories, even at the famous Goodwood Revival.
The car spent 30 years in Australia after which it was finally brought to the UK, where a new journey awaited the DB4 GT Zagato.
Restoration of the car not even James Bond could have
After stealing the hearts of millions, including James Bond’s, the DB4 GT Zagato also underwent a restoration process.
The restoration took place under the special care of Aston Martin specialist, Richard S. Williams, and Zagato craftsmen.
From new panels to mechanical components, every bit of the car was taken care of, bringing back its luxury edge.
Interestingly, the Jaguar C-X75, another car featured in James Bond films, has recently been made road-legal.
On December 10, 2015, the car was auctioned at RM Sotheby’s.
It was fetched a staggering price exceeding seven figures.
Unfortunately, the person who brought the iconic car to the auction is unidentified.
But it would definitely be a possession worth being proud of every day.
