The Porsche 911 has returned as a luxury EV grand tourer, redesigned by Everrati to bring modern electric power to a classic shape.
The company has unveiled the Porsche 911 (993) Founders Edition, based on the last air-cooled generation built in the 1990s.
It keeps the familiar profile that made the 993 one of the most recognizable sports cars of its era.
With only nine examples to be made, this rare project adds a new chapter to the history of the Porsche 911.

Porsche 911 reimagined as a luxury EV
The Porsche 911 (993) was produced from 1994 to 1998 and is often regarded as a turning point in the model’s history.
Everrati has now converted the car into an electric grand tourer, announcing the project at Monterey Car Week 2025.
The design stays close to the original, with the same body lines and analogue interior layout.

Luxury trim and exclusive paint choices distinguish each car, with every example built to an individual specification.
Under the bodywork, the electric system changes the driving experience entirely.
Power output is rated at 760 hp with 810 Nm of torque, far beyond what the original combustion engines produced.

A 63 kWh battery allows for around 200 miles of driving. Using a 100 kW fast charger, the battery can be replenished from 20 to 80 percent in about 25 minutes.
Charging from a regular 6.6 kW AC source takes several hours.
Only nine cars will be produced, and each buyer will be directly involved in the design and testing process of their Porsche 911.
Everrati’s growing grand tourer lineup
Everrati has previously built electric versions of the Porsche 911 (964), the Land Rover Series IIA, and the Mercedes-Benz SL W113.
The Porsche 911 (993) Founders Edition follows the same principle, taking a well-known model and updating it with an electric drivetrain while keeping its core identity intact.
The company says the car uses components usually found in top-level performance vehicles, adapted here for a road car.

Prices have not been confirmed, though Everrati’s earlier builds have cost in the region of $450,000.
Most of the Porsche 911 (993) Founders Editions are expected to go to US buyers.
By combining a historic model with electric technology, Everrati is positioning the Porsche 911 as a luxury EV grand tourer that can be driven regularly while still retaining its collector appeal.
