Corvette created from interesting origins
All the way back in 1953, Chevrolet was starting to think about its next car offering.
At this meeting, the brand executives were given an idea by a man named Myron Scott.
Scott was, at the time, the assistant director of General Motors’ (GM) Public Relations department.
He proposed creating a new car named after the corvette; a small, agile class of warship.

Thankfully, GM executives agreed, and the small, six-cylinder sports car was born.
For its first year of production, only 300 units were produced – and they were all Polo White.
However, Chevrolet’s marquee offering quickly captured the adoration of America.
Over the course of its eight generations, the Corvette has grown and evolved a lot, too.
Having first come with a six-cylinder engine, the Corvette has grown to offer various V8 powerplants.
What does the interior of a Corvette look like?
To put simply, the interior of the new, C8 Corvette is an extremely pleasant place to be.
For decades, American cars have been notorious for inferior interior, with it often feeling cheap and plasticky.
Well, this couldn’t be further from the truth for the Corvette.
One quick glance inside the Chevrolet flagship, and you can tell the interior is absolutely beautiful.

Chevrolet’s newest Corvette comes with a touchscreen display, perfectly placed to the side of the steering wheel.
Speaking of the steering wheel – the newly redesigned one is a lovely, square design that feels perfect in your hands.
The instrument display is also stunningly finished as a digital display, with everything laid out perfectly.
The standard seats come wrapped in Mulan leather, and are designed for comfort and support.
In short – the interior of the C8 Corvette is seriously impressive; some even think it is on par with European offerings.
Does the Chevrolet Corvette still perform as well as we remember?
In short, yes.
The new, C8 Chevrolet Corvette comes with a naturally-aspirated V8 engine producing 495bhp.
It also produces a 0-60 time of just a touch under three seconds.
For a car that costs under $60,000, no one can deny its value.
In the past couple of years, the C8 Corvette has earned a lot of respect.

In particular (and aside from the interior), the handling has been noted as being much improved.
Interestingly, the refinement of the V8 has also come in for particular praise.
Many people have praised its usability as an everyday, daily driver as well as a track beast.
So, there you have it – your guide to all things Chevrolet Corvette.
