A scaled-down replica of Istanbul’s Formula 1 race track has gone up for sale in Texas in the U.S.

Once dubbed ‘the best race track in the world’ by former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, the 19-turn Instabul circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke and opened up back in 2005.

And now, you could get your hands on a scale replica of it in Panhandle, Texas – if that’s the sort of thing you’d like to do.

The scaled-down replica is used for go-karts

Sat on a 50-acre ‘prime’ site in Carson County, the listing – which is currently live on Loopnet – is for a ‘sports and entertainment building’.

It’s currently used as – you guessed it – a race track.

Obviously, given its size, this one isn’t set up to allow F1 cars to race along it – but it is perfectly designed for go-karts.

As such, alongside the .91-mile asphalt track, the property comes complete with various buildings, comprising offices, ‘party rooms’, fully air-conditioned/heated toilet and shower facilities as well as storage for the go-karts.

The listing even details some ‘living quarters’ should you fancy living on site.

Who could blame you?

The listing also comes with a hefty price tag – $2 million to be precise.

But could you really put a price on the true happiness living at a scaled-down F1 rack track would bring?

This isn’t the first property with its own race track that we’ve seen

However, if you’re looking for something with a bit more of a homely feel then perhaps this Arizona mansion that comes with its own go-kart track and racing garage is more up your street.

Listed on Zillow back in February this year, the stunning 9,300 square-foot mansion boasted a seven-corner track, a fully stocked racing garage, a gym, a gaming room, a theater room, and a full-size basketball court.

As you can imagine, such a property did not come cheap and this one was listed at $20 million (£15,831,800).

It’s since been taken off the market so we can only assume it has been snapped up by someone very rich and very lucky.
