Man checks out ‘Fast and Furious’ car collection hidden in Missouri warehouse

A guy visited a warehouse in Missouri that is packed full of vehicles from the Fast and Furious franchise, and other Hollywood hits. 

The franchise burst onto our screens all the way back in 2001. 

It has since gone on to spawn a whopping nine sequels. 

The idea for the original movie – The Fast and the Furious – came from a 1998 magazine article about illegal street racing.

The collection was home to plenty of vehicles from Fast and Furious

Across three decades, the Fast and Furious franchise has showcased some of the most powerful and exotic cars in existence – such as the super-rare 2013 Rally Fighter from Fast & Furious 8 that recently sold on SBX Cars for $118,000. 

But, of course, with 10 movies under the franchise’s belt, there’s a whole heap of cars that have been involved. 

It seems like many of them have ended up at the Celebrity Car Museum in Branson, Missouri. 

The museum is packed full of cars that have appeared on both the big and small screen – including more than a couple from the Fast and Furious series of flicks. 

The museum and its owner Devon Velvet were visited by YouTube content creator TJ Lamb from the Magnacars channel, who got to check out the impressive collection. 

First up was the 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, which appeared in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift – and was driven by Lucas Black, who played the protagonist Sean Boswell.

Velvet also pointed out a 2010 Bentley Continental GT that comes with a Vorsteiner BR9 package. 

This car was driven by Roman Pearce – played by Tyrese Gibson – in The Fate of the Furious. Velvet notes that it might be the only Bentley Continental GT in the world that has been modded for drifting.

Elsewhere in the museum, we see a 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS that was driven by Michelle Rodriguez – or Letty Ortiz in the films –  in F9. 

And there’s a 1967 Mustang Fastback that appeared in the final scene of Tokyo Drift.

Velvet says several of these were made for the movie, but only one had the RB26 motor – the others, which included the one in this collection, had V8s. 

The collection doesn’t just include cars from Fast and Furious, either – Velvet also pointed out the Plymouth Belvedere from the 1995 comedy Tommy Boy and a hearse that featured in Dumb and Dumber.
