This footage shows a NASA jet reaching 7,000mph over California, the fastest Mach ever reached by an aircraft at the time.
The NASA jet in question is the X-43A experimental aircraft, which set a record back on the 16th November 2004, as it flew over the Pacific Ocean, west of California.
The flight showed that this special air-breathing jet could actually reach Mach 9.6, which is almost 7,000mph, a truly record-breaking feat.
Check out the incredible footage from NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California.
