A Ferrari F355 V8 has been turned into a fully functional V8 motorcycle that holds the proportions of a proper sport bike.
The machine weighs 590lbs wet and produces 400HP through a six-speed transmission.
It was built from the ground up without a donor frame, using only custom-fabricated parts.
The result is compact, balanced, and more refined than most would expect from a project this ambitious.

The sport bike with a Ferrari heart
The entire build was shared on Instagram by custom motorcycle builder Maxwell Hazan, known for his high-detail, hand-built machines.
This one, tagged under #HF355, features a Ferrari F355 engine mounted in a bespoke frame, with the goal of creating a V8 motorcycle that looked and felt like a factory sport bike.
It was not designed to be a novelty or a one-off showcase. Hazan aimed to make it rideable, practical, and mechanically sound.

The engine is mounted longitudinally and paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Supporting systems, including the cooling, oil, and fuel tanks, were designed around the powertrain layout.
In total, it carries eight quarts of oil, four gallons of fuel, and two gallons of coolant, which brings the wet weight to 590lbs.
Despite the scale of the engine, the overall form remains tight and proportionally accurate to a standard sport bike.

The riding position was a key consideration, though.
Seat height, footpeg placement, and handlebar reach were all tuned to feel natural and familiar.
Hazan intentionally avoided exaggerating the bodywork or wheelbase to make room for the V8.
Instead, he kept everything compact, giving the bike a balanced, purposeful stance.
The Ferrari F355 V8 motorcycle was built entirely from scratch
Many people online have commented as though the Ferrari F355 engine was dropped into an existing motorcycle, but Hazan has clarified that no donor bike was used.
The frame, subframe, and swingarm were all built specifically to fit the engine and manage its weight and heat. And the layout was dictated by the powertrain, not retrofitted around it.
Now, only a few finishing touches remain. The bike is otherwise fully operational and has been shown running with a deep, aggressive sound that makes its Ferrari origins obvious.

It starts, shifts, and rides like a complete machine rather than a prototype or concept.
This V8 motorcycle stands out not only for its performance or headline specs, but for the level of control and restraint in its design.
The Ferrari F355 engine is the centrepiece, but the execution is what gives the bike its credibility.
It functions, it fits, and it delivers on the intent behind every weld and component.
