Ferrari has previewed its next Ferrari hypercar, the SF90 successor, with an exclusive first look released through the MyFerrari app.

The teaser clip focuses on a continuous LED light bar that stretches across the rear. It replaces the twin taillights used on the SF90 Stradale.

No technical details have been confirmed, but this visual change suggests more extensive updates to both design and hybrid systems.

With the Ferrari hypercar’s full unveiling set for September 9, questions are already circling about how far Ferrari will go with this SF90 successor.

First glimpse at SF90 successor design changes

The Ferrari teaser, shared exclusively through the MyFerrari app, focuses on a full-width LED light bar. It’s a design that marks a major shift from the split taillights seen on the current SF90 Stradale.

This single design element hints at a broader redesign for the SF90 successor. Reports are also suggesting new aerodynamic treatments and vertical LED daytime running lights on the front end.

While Ferrari has not released any official specifications, it’s expected that the Ferrari hypercar will continue using the brand’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

In its current setup, this engine produces 769hp and 590lb-ft of torque, supported by electric motors to achieve a combined 986hp output in the SF90 Stradale.

However, speculation points to the introduction of a third electric motor in the SF90 successor. That could lift total system output beyond 1000hp.

Ferrari has not confirmed these figures, however. And, until the official reveal, the teaser remains the only insight into what the SF90 successor will deliver.

The global debut of Ferrari’s next hypercar will take place in Milan on September 9, 2025.

This event is expected to detail the SF90 successor’s complete design overhaul and technical specifications.

Ferrari hypercar teaser strategy targets core clients

Ferrari’s decision to release the SF90 successor teaser through the MyFerrari app is part of its ongoing strategy to prioritize direct engagement with existing clients.

The app has become Ferrari’s preferred channel for delivering early previews of new models, giving Ferrari hypercar owners and enthusiasts a first look at upcoming releases.

By sharing the teaser directly with its core audience, Ferrari controls the narrative before wider public distribution.

The SF90 successor will become the next entry in Ferrari’s hypercar lineage, joining iconic models like the LaFerrari and Enzo.

With increasing emphasis on hybrid performance, this Ferrari hypercar is expected to showcase the brand’s evolving approach to combining traditional V8 power with enhanced electrification.

While the Ferrari teaser reveals only a single design element, it confirms a shift in design philosophy that will likely be matched by significant technical upgrades.

The Ferrari hypercar is among the year’s most anticipated launches. And the SF90 successor is set to lead Ferrari’s next hybrid era.
