Ferrari’s first EV supercar has been one of the red-hot talking points in the car industry this year.

Rumors have been flying left and right as to what such an EV would look like.

Well, it now looks like we are getting much closer to seeing the vision realised.

Because Ferrari’s first EV has been spotted for the first time out in public.

Ferrari’s first EV supercar seen in the wild

The topic of Ferrari building its first-ever EV supercar is one of the industry’s biggest talking points.

In many ways, Ferrari has remained one of the last bastions against the rise of all-out EVs.

But it now seems like Ferrari’s first EV will be here – and much sooner than we think.

And that is because this next-generation offering has been spotted out in the wild and, as we can see from the photographs shared by Derek Cornellissen, it looks… strange.

The project, codenamed Elettrica”, comes with some truly hilarious camouflage and design.

It looks more akin to a hearse/bread van hybrid wrapped like a Christmas present.

Of course, the Ferrari Elettrica will most likely look nothing like this when it is officially unveiled.

But Maranello sure has gone to extreme lengths to disguise the true appearance of the upcoming supercar.

Not much is known – but hopefully not for long

Speaking of which – what details can people expect from Ferrari’s first EV supercar?

Well, the reports are as interesting as they are varied.

For one thing, it has been reported that the Elettrica will be significantly larger than normal.

But it will not, however, be an SUV or a crossover similar to the Purosangue.

That would suggest that the leaked images are pretty close to the supercar’s actual production body.

The details of the prototype would also suggest that the Elettrica will have four doors.

What is interesting to note is that Ferrari is scheduled to hold an investor meeting next month.

It is likely that we will learn many more details about Ferrari’s first EV supercar then.
