He’s known for going viral while losing his mind over vintage locomotives, but now Francis Bourgeois is committed to restoring a rust-ridden 2003 Honda Jazz.

And the reason he’s doing it is incredibly wholesome.

It’s pink, it’s got a name – Rhonda the Honda – and it just might be the most lovable hatchback on the internet.

Francis has built an entire online following off the back of his wide-eyed, joyous reactions to rare trains, usually filmed with a camera mounted at a slightly chaotic angle.

But in a recent video, the focus wasn’t on a railway line. It was Rhonda the Honda, up on a lift at a garage, undergoing a full rust inspection.

The verdict? There’s a lot of rust – more than most would want to deal with – but she’s not done yet. And that was all Francis Bourgeois needed to hear.

Rhonda isn’t just a cute project car – she was bought with love.

Francis picked up the pink Jazz because it was the dream car of his girlfriend, Amy.

She lives with a medical condition that prevents her from driving, but he still wanted her to experience it.

So now, instead of Amy driving the car, they enjoy it together – with Francis Bourgeois behind the wheel and Amy living out her pink fantasy from the passenger seat.

The car itself is a 2003 Honda Jazz 1.4 iDSI (sold in the US as the Fit).

This one’s finished in a rare factory color called Iris Red Pearl, which, in certain light, definitely reads more pink than red.

Francis has pledged to restore Rhonda to near-showroom perfection, declaring he wants it to be the cleanest, most pristine Iris Red Pearl Jazz in the world.

And with Rhonda starring in her own TikTok videos, she’s already halfway to celebrity status.

While other influencers splash cash on Lambos and supercars, Francis is busy lovingly fixing up a 20-year-old hatchback – and honestly, it’s refreshing.

He’s not trying to impress anyone. He just genuinely loves the car, the story, and the shared joy it brings.

And with every update he posts, fans are following along – not for clout, but because Rhonda has real heart.

This isn’t just a car story. It’s a love story with a pink car at the center.

She might be rusty now, but she’s about to get a second life. And we’re all along for the ride.
