Check out this impressive hand-built Lamborghini V12 Vision GT that looks just like the real thing.
The team who built the vehicle got hold of a scale model of the Lamborghini V12 Vision GT to help devise plans to turn their dream project into reality.
The incredible-looking vehicle was made from scratch using sheet metal for the bodywork.
Rather than the powerful V12 the original has, this DIY job has been fitted with a V8 – but aside from that it’s almost identical to the real deal.

The DIY Lamborghini V12 Vision GT looks the part
We’re often left amazed by the sort of DIY cars people are able to create, such as the man who crafted his own Lamborghini Countach using a Toyota V12 engine.
Or the guy who took it further and built a fully functional WWII replica tank.
Meanwhile, the guys from the M Mechanic YouTube channel were so impressed by the beauty of the Lamborghini V12 Vision GT that they decided to make their own.
The computerized 3D plans for the car were made using a 1:18 scale model of the Lamborghini.
By checking out – and scaling up – the pieces and parts on the model car, they were able to create a set of plans that they could then use to start the build.
With the plans in hand, steel plates were used to create all the required parts before the whole thing was carefully welded together and placed on the DIY chassis.

The car’s bodywork was then primed and some cool LED lights were added to the front of the car.
Under the hood, the home-made car isn’t quite as powerful as the Lamborghini V12 Vision GT.
It was fitted with a 4.3 liter V8 engine that produces 366 horsepower.
For context, the Lamborghini V12 Vision GT has a 6.5 liter V12 engine delivering 808hp.
The DIY car was completed with a slick bright red paint job and given a few finishing touches before it was ready to hit the streets.
The finished car is nothing short of mind-blowing – and a real testament to the creativity and imagination of those involved.
