Lamborghini is the gold standard for Supercars in the racing world, and recently it’s been experimenting with hybridization, with the goal of moving towards full electrification.
The launch of the Lamborghini Revuelto saw the company’s first move to hybridization, and it was a bit of a gamble as the automaker didn’t know how its customers would react to it.
It seems as though the automaker wants to stick with what it knows best – its flagship V12 engine, even though it’s continuing its recent foray into hybrid vehicles.
It looks as though the future of Lamborghini is bright, but unlike its supercars, it’s in no rush. The automaker will invest in electrification, hybridization, and aggressive styling, and not trying to reinvent the wheel.

What is Lamborghini planning for the future?
Lamborghini has recently started a new journey into supercar hybridization, and it’s really doubling down on it for the future.
In a press release in September 2024, the automaker announced that ‘Lamborghini’s roadmap for the future revolves around hybrid technology.’
This is seen through the Lamborghini Temerario, which was a bit of a disappointment with a hybrid V8 engine in comparison to the Revuelto’s V12.
However it looks as though Lamborghini is going to carry on doing what it’s doing with hybrid vehicles.
Lamborghini knows what it’s known for, impressive styling and speed, especially its flagship V12 engine. So a move back to basics will do the automaker good.

Electrification, hybridization, and aggressive styling
According to the same press release from November last year, Lamborghini ‘will maintain the core spirit of Lamborghini – aggressive styling, cutting-edge aerodynamics, and world-class handling.’
Apart from the hybrid Huracán successor, Lamborghini is going to be developing what it’s already established.
It’ll combine its flagship V12 motor with hybrid transportation, wrapped up with impressive styling, while working on some limited runs of pre-existing models.
Lamborghini is taking it a bit slower for the future, unlike its supercars!
