The robots are being built to take care of everyone’s least favorite household chores – all of them.
Billionaire founder Sir James Dyson this week posted photos teasing the project.
The company said it aimed to create “an autonomous device capable of household chores and other tasks”.
Although there is no release date for the product, Dyson is spending big money to get there.
The company pledged to spend 2.75 BILLION pounds between 2020 and 2025 to research new technologies, including Dyson robots.
The company’s chief engineer – who is also the boss’s son – Jake Dyson said they were going all-in on a robotic future.
“This is a big bet on future robotic technology that will drive research across the whole of Dyson,” he said.
The company said that “until now, Dyson’s robots have been floor-based vacuum cleaners”.
But these were just “a glimpse of new research in manipulation and robot learning”.
James Dyson – whose net worth is a staggering $23 billion – also wanted to build the UK’s largest robotics research center at Hullavington Airfield.
The company planned to develop an electric car at the site, but the project was abandoned in 2019.
The idea was ditched at the prototype stage when the company decided it wouldn’t be commercially viable.

If all that wasn’t enough, Dyson also went viral on the video-sharing platform TikTok this year.
After it launched its hairstyling tool, the Airwrap, hundreds of women took to the platform to share their hair transformations.
The happy customers made the Airwrap quite literally an overnight global sensation.
Who knew a vacuum company would take over the beauty industry?
And if people weren’t already obsessed with Dyson, just wait until the cleaning robots comes out.
