This is the new Genesis GV80 Coupe Concept and it looks incredible.
In fact, it looks better than most other coupe-style SUVs.
Genesis has a knack for designing good-looking cars, and the GV80 Coupe Concept is another to add to the list.

Not to throw a spanner in the works, but the South Korean luxury brand hasn’t specifically stated if it will go into production.
It has, however, confirmed that it “serves as a statement of intent for the future, hinting towards more emotional and performance-orientated models”.
Sounds like there’s a chance it might go into production at some point, though.

Hopefully it does, because it takes the standard GV80 SUV to another level with its sports car-inspired dynamics.
Just look at its aggressive and wide stance, and those big five-spoke forged aluminum wheels filling the arches.
And the performance-focused bits, like the upper rear spoiler and lip spoiler on the ducktail which, the automaker says, provides downforce at high speeds.

On the subject of performance, the Genesis GV80 Coupe Concept doesn’t appear to be an EV, as it has four slots in its front bumper to help with cooling.
At the front, the couple-style SUV has those familiar wrap-around quad headlights and that Double G-Matrix Patterned Crest Grille.
To make it really stand out, its features a ‘Magma’ orange paint job.

The bright color continues on the inside, where the Genesis GV80 Coupe Concept gets an interior unlike anything we’ve seen before.
For starters, it’s got four bucket seats with a body color-painted carbon backrest.
There’s even a G-Matrix strut brace located behind the rear seats for extra stiffness.

Rounding off that sporty interior is a three-spoke steering wheel, black Nappa and suede leather front and rear seats with double plaid stitching, orange piping, and carbon fiber weaves.
If this is what the future spells for Genesis, we’re all for it.
