In one of the strangest juxtapositions of size in the vehicle industry, this man took his customized pint-sized Go-Kart and turned it into a Beetle monster truck, with parts sourced only from Amazon.

The best things come in small packages, right?

Well, that might be true for the most part, but in the automotive industry, nothing really beats the pure power and vibe of a monster truck.

That’s the confused internal monologue that’s been waging war for this YouTuber, who decided that his Go-Kart needed a monstrous makeover.

The Go-Kart is the perfect modification blueprint

Go-Karts are much more than childish rides, and nowadays, they’re thrilling even the best drivers on the planet.

But they often need a lot of modifying to squeeze out the most enjoyment from them.

That’s why some people have taken inspiration from real-life cars and transformed these little mechanical dreamboats into self-driving Teslas.

One YouTuber from Bummotorsport has now taken his customizable Go-Kart and begun running it through the biggest of upgrade cycles.

Having already used the Go-Kart in a range of different builds, the man decided that a monster truck was its next transformation.

First, the build needed a new suspension, extending the axis to have ultimate balance and control.

Having ordered new tubes from Amazon, the team cut the original suspension arms down to add a precise extension on each wheel.

With new shocks installed (also from Amazon at $200) and everything welded together, they continued to add custom axle mounts and a new rear spring.

After hours of labour, the Go-Kart was no more.

From little to large, this Kart is now a Beetle Monster Truck

With homemade Go-Karts becoming increasingly clever, this new monster truck build was born and looked seriously impressive.

But they aren’t finished there.

Keeping things weird, they dressed it up in the finest Herbie outfits, transforming their little monster truck into a huge beetle.

Future modifications will include steering enhancements and a possible hydraulic cabin, because ‘why not?’

But the YouTuber is already excited for what the build has to offer.

“It is so much better. That will hit a jump in the dunes,” he said.
