This group visited a hidden aircraft graveyard in Nevada that was packed full of rotting and rusting airplanes, helicopters, and more.

The sprawling site is the final resting place for dozens of old and abandoned aircraft.

YouTuber Heavy D Sparks and his pals went out to Dayton, Nevada, to check out the cool hidden treasures stashed away inside.

They ended up leaving with some pretty unique vehicles.

The sprawling aircraft graveyard houses old military vehicles

There are several huge aircraft graveyards strewn across the US, such as this one that houses old military aircraft, and this one in California where retired aircraft go to die.

And over in Dayton, Nevada, there’s a huge facility that’s crammed full of helicopters, airplanes, military vehicles, and more.

Content creator Heavy D Sparks headed out to Dayton to check out the aircraft graveyard for himself and was blown away by the sheer scale.

The site is owned by a man named Rick who was keen to downsize and get rid of some of the abandoned aircraft – and Sparks was more than happy to help out.

He turned up with a fleet of vehicles to make sure he could bring ‘big, giant, cool stuff’ back home with him.

“There are some treasures in this yard and some history and some stories,” Sparks said as he headed into the aircraft graveyard.

“It’s going to be a good day.”

Sparks and his friends appeared to be spoilt for choice as they picked their way through the abandoned aircraft.

“This is really really really hard for me because there’s a lot of great stuff and we have very limited trailer space,” Sparks said.

As the team checked out one of the old vehicles, they suggested it could be converted into a unique living space – it wouldn’t be the first time someone had turned a former plane into a motorhome

After taking a good look around, Sparks settled on an MK48 military truck, which comes complete with a crane on the back.

“It’s the ultimate off-road logistics and recovery master, I love it,” he said.

Alongside the MK48, Sparks also took an old military boat that had spent decades on dry land.

Although the clip ended there, Sparks said he wasn’t quite done with the graveyard just yet and would be back to add some more unusual vehicles to his collection.
