Honda has launched its new Dream Drives app, giving drivers a curated collection of more than 120 routes across 25 countries.
It’s a bittersweet moment, as the app arrives just as the Honda Civic Type R bows out of Europe after nearly 30 years of hot-hatch dominance.
To mark the farewell, Honda teamed up with motoring experts, enthusiasts, and Civic Type R owners to compile a map of the ultimate drives, ranging from iconic bucket-list routes to hidden gems.
Think of it as a parting gift to Europe’s car lovers: a treasure map of winding asphalt ready to be explored.

Europe’s best roads include both icons and well-kept secrets
The Honda Dream Drives app includes legendary mountain passes such as Austria’s Grossglockner High Alpine Road and Romania’s Transfăgărășan Highway, which are routes that every petrolhead dreams of conquering.
For rally fans, there’s the legendary Col de Turini in France, famous for its Monte Carlo Rally stage.

Scotland’s Old Military Road and the A93 showcase Britain’s dramatic landscapes, while Italy’s Stelvio Pass makes the cut for anyone who wants to test their cornering courage.
The list mixes well-known icons with local secrets, making it as useful for planning a European road trip as it is for daydreaming at your desk.
In fact, you can probably use the app to find the perfect road to drive on in the world’s best country for drivers.
The Dream Drives app is not limited to Honda owners
What makes Dream Drives especially handy considering how easy it is to use.
You can search for Europe’s best roads by country, road type (mountain, lakeside, coastal), duration, or even by name.
Each entry comes with a map, route information, estimated driving time, and a ‘time to beat’ if you’re feeling competitive.

The app links directly to Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation and even supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, meaning you can take it straight on the road.
Of course, Honda gently reminds users to keep things safe and legal, although it can be difficult to resist racing on some of these routes.
While it’s undeniably a promotional nod to the Civic Type R, the Dream Drives app isn’t limited to Honda owners.
Whether you’re in a hot hatch, a convertible, or even planning a motorcycle tour, the guide to Europe’s best roads is open for anyone to enjoy.
It’s a fitting tribute to the Civic Type R’s European legacy: three decades of joy, performance, and corner-carving precision.
