A YouTuber has turned heads by outfitting a four-wheeler with spiked wheels, transforming it into a chaotic demolition machine.

Known for his outrageous vehicle experiments, the Indiana native tested a series of bizarre wheel designs in his latest video.

From ovals to triangles to full-blown spikes, each setup pushed the limits of both physics and common sense.

While these modifications may not offer the smoothest ride, they do look awesome.

Testing different sets of wheels for the four-wheeler

YouTuber WhistlinDiesel, who recently organized a tug of war between a Tesla Cybertruck and a semi truck, posted his new four-wheeled adventure on his channel.

The experiment began with a set of custom-made oval wheels, that are pink for some reason.

While the design seems like it would render the vehicle immobile, the four-wheeler surprisingly manages to move.

However, it was a pretty bumpy ride, and this setup won’t be winning any points for comfort.

Suffice to say, you probably shouldn’t be riding any vehicle with oval wheels on any rough roads.

It was unstable, impractical, but also perfectly on brand.

Not satisfied with the insanity of ovals, the YouTuber stepped it up with a set of triangle wheels next.

These looked even more bizarre and dangerous.

Before testing them, the content creator consulted ChatGPT of all things, seeking advice on how to make the ride smoother.

Surprisingly, ChatGPT revealed that if one rides fast enough with triangular wheels, it’s possible to get a somewhat smooth riding experience.

The AI chatbot compared the concept to a massage gun, which uses high-speed vibrations to provide a smooth sensation.

And what’s the magical speed needed to make this work? A mere 18 mph.

Taking that advice to heart, the YouTuber cranked the throttle and managed to achieve a surprisingly stable ride, although it remains really jarring to see a four-wheeler with triangular wheels.

The spiked wheels are the real highlight

The real chaos came with the grand finale: spiked wheels.

These brutal-looking attachments were designed purely for destruction.

The YouTuber previously tested these on another four-wheeler, although he made a few design improvements since then.

As soon as they hit the pavement, they began to dent and deform, but they didn’t stop the four-wheeler from charging forward.

Everywhere it went, it left a trail of destruction, threatening the structural integrity of everything in its path.

Needless to say, given that there no safety precautions in place, this is a pretty dangerous maneuver, although it doesn’t seem to deter him at all.

Naturally, the steering isn’t the best, but then again, this is to be expected with spikes instead of tires.

And while the YouTuber’s experiment proves that wheels don’t necessarily need to be circular for vehicles to move, it’s safe to say that spiked wheels are probably not going to be a standard feature in cars for the time being.
