Rumors swirl about new iOS 27 features
iOS 27 is set to be the latest major update to Apple’s software.
Of course, the release is still several months away.
A beta version of the software is reportedly set to be demonstrated during WWDC in June.
The full version will then be released to iPhone users in September.
But that hasn’t stopped rumors from flying about the updates it will bring.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, iOS 27 will be similar to Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
This will be in the sense that Apple is apparently focused on improving ‘quality and underlying performance.’
There will still be new features; however, most of which are expected to come under the remit of Apple Intelligence.
So what are the rumored new features that could come?
1. Changes to Siri for iOS 27
The first big rumor is that a more personalized version of Siri is expected to be released with iOS 26.4.
But more hefty changes are anticipated with the release of iOS 27 in September.
Siri will reportedly have a new design, remember past conversations, and provide active suggestions.
2. Apple Intelligence gets a big overhaul
Several big new features are expected to be added to Apple Intelligence.
These include, but are not limited to, an AI-powered Calendar app.
A new Apple Health+ subscription-based service could include an AI health coach.
And this health coach could actively provide health tips and nutrition planning.
Google Gemini will reportedly help power most of these new features.
3. 5G satellite internet connectivity
If reports are to be believed, iOS 27 will support 5G satellite internet connectivity.
It is important to note that this feature might be limited to iPhone 18 Pro models.
Additional satellite features are rumored to be coming, though.
These include Apple Maps, as well as the ability to use the Messages app via satellite.
