With the pulsating announcement of the latest Apple fleet, the iPhone 17 Pro battery life is being highlighted, after getting a major upgrade on the last model.
The iPhone 17 range is here, and while details on the iOS 26 update are still up in the air, the new hardware is quickly impressing.
But while there are a lot of physical attributes to split hairs over, like the appearance of the Air, it’s the iPhone 17 Pro battery life that has people in a frenzy.
With a near 20 percent increase on models gone by, you’re able to get six more hours of video playback from the new models.

iPhone 17 Pro battery life gets massive upgrade
Tech fanatics predicted that skipping the iPhone 16 would reap its rewards, and with the emergence of the iPhone 17, you’d get everything you’d been hoping for.
Well, it looks like they were right.
Apple announced the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max at a showcase yesterday, and even without the collaboration with the stellar iOS software and other products, the base hardware is sublime.
Particularly, the iPhone 17 Pro battery life is being highlighted, as compared to the 16, it will last 19 percent longer.

Not only will that give those on-the-go iPhone users much more energy and juice to squeeze out before returning to the charger, but it also makes deterioration even less noticeable.
As the biggest charging pack yet, the iPhone 17 Pro battery life offers up to 39 hours of video playback.
As for the interesting lightweight iPhone Air, it gets 27 hours of video playback, which is less than an iPhone 14 Pro, but is an impressive feat considering its tiny size.
There is one small hitch, however. To get the full optimization, Apple claims that you need an eSIM.
That’s because using physical SIM cards reduces the battery life slightly. But that shouldn’t be an issue if you follow some savvy tips to get the most out of your battery’s lifespan.

The battery isn’t the only pull here either.
Charging is getting a wild increase.
In fact, the Pro will be able to get a 50 percent charge in 20 minutes flat.
So that one percent club no longer needs to live perilously by unplugging and plugging in every two minutes, and can watch their battery fly up in a matter of minutes.
Pop the kettle on and you’re almost full.

The new iPhone 17 does spell the end of production for some icons of the game, but Apple is clearly on to bigger and better things.
