It appears that seeing a Ferrari supercar brings out the inner fan in all of us.
And that philosophy applies just as much to Italian cops when they get a glimpse.
A viral video has shown a group of Italian cops pulling over one such supercar.
But it turns out that they only pull it over to let the driver know how impressed they were.

Ferrari 812 Superfast gets in trouble in Milan
Today’s story comes to us from the glorious city of Milan, Italy.
But this story doesn’t concern the city’s stunning architecture or history.
Instead, it concerns cars; specifically, an extremely fast Ferrari supercar.
As a matter of fact, the car in question just so happens to be the incredible Ferrari 812 Superfast.

And it truly is superfast indeed – because it is the speed that got the driver in trouble.
The video in question starts with a Ferrari driver getting pulled over for speeding.
And the video, uploaded by Spanish publication Diario AS, showed the driver realizing his mistake.
Italian cops are bigger supercar fans than we are
The Milanese cops then approached the driver and asked if he spoke Italian.
After admitting that he only speaks English, the Italian cop made a surprise admission.
“This is one of the best cars in the world!”, exclaimed the Italian cop.
After shaking the driver’s hand, the Italian policeman further remarked on the beauty of the car.
“The best engine of Ferrari!” he said in admiration at the 812 Superfast.

Of course, no Ferrari-focused video would be complete without admiring the noise.
“You want to listen?” the driver asked the Italian cops at the side of the street.
The driver then fires up a blast of the 6.5-liter, naturally-aspirated V12 orchestra.
Following said rev, the police laughed in disbelief before shaking the driver’s hand once again.
“I love the police in Italy!” the driver exclaims.
Frankly, we think we might have to agree with the driver on this one.
