The world’s largest aircraft has been spotted soaring through the sky over California – the Roc by Stratolaunch is able to carry a huge payload of over 226,796kg.

Instantly recognisable by its unique design, the world’s largest aircraft features a dual-fuselage and high-wing design, powered by six Boeing 747 engines.

This design then enables launch from the centerline, below the wing, which is safer and more efficient, with a total wingspan of 385 feet.

You can watch the airplane in action at the top of the page, which was captured flying over the Golden State by slightlysupersonic.
