Jay Kay and Jamiroquai achieve global fame
Jay Kay is a truly enigmatic figure, even within an industry that prides itself on creativity.
The Londoner serves as the frontman of acid jazz and funk band Jamiroquai.
Jay Kay and Jamiroquai experienced almost immediate success from the moment the band got together.
It’s first single, When You Gonna Learn, landed the band a $1 million record deal with Sony Soho.
1996 would see the band gain international superstardom with the smash hit, Virtual Insanity.

The song earned Jay Kay a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.
And the video also earned the singer four awards, including Video of the Year, at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards.
For over 30 years, Jamiroquai has continued to perform all over the world.
The success garnered by the group has, naturally, led to much wealth and success for the frontman.
But the singer has a very clear avenue of passion to channel his hard-earned wealth.
Jamiroquai frontman likes cars – a lot
Aside from his music career, Jay Kay is extremely famous for his multi-million-dollar car collection.
In fact, his insane collection has led fans to ponder whether the singer has more supercars than songs.
In case you don’t believe us, let’s examine the evidence.
For his 40th birthday, Jay Kay decided to treat himself to something quite special.
Was it a watch? A luxe holiday in the Caribbean?
Nope – he bought himself a Ferrari 275 GTB.
The star’s 275 GTB is powered by the 3.3-liter Colombo V12 engine.

Of course, Jay Kay couldn’t leave his Ferrari 275 GTB as the only Ferrari in his collection.
So he bought himself a Ferrari Enzo to provide some company.
The iconic Enzo is only one of 400 ever made – and Jay Kay managed to bag himself one.
Jamiroquai’s enigmatic frontman also owns an Aston Martin DB5.
This DB5, however, happens to be a Mark 1 Volante Aston Martin DB5 that appeared in Goldfinger (1964) – because of course it is.
Aside from his movie-themed Aston Martin DB5, the singer’s tastes also very much extend to Ferrari’s Italian rivals, which mainly means Lamborghini.
For one thing, the singer has a Lamborghini Miura SV in his personal garage.
Its value – which was already substantial – was massively increased thanks to its appearance in the video for the song, Alright.
Jay Kay’s purple Lamborghini Diablo is equally iconic as his Miura SV.
In fact, those of a certain age might remember it from featuring in the music video for Cosmic Girl.
And that is just a small snippet of Jay Kay and his truly epic car collection.
