The new John Wick 4 trailer is here and we need to talk about it

A new trailer for John Wick 4 has just been released and it’s a bit confusing.

Frankly, we have a couple of questions.

You can watch the John Wick 4 trailer here!

The trailer opens to a typical Hollywood-style church scene.

Dimly-lit candles, gothic statues, and an odd conversation between the main protagonist John Wick and a villain.

The villain is Caine, played by Donnie Yen.

In the next scene, we get acquainted with the main antagonist of the movie, a mysterious man named Marquis.

Marquis simply alludes to “new rules” and “new management” for the High Table.

In the John Wick franchise, The High Table is a council of crime lords that run the world’s most powerful criminal organizations.

So our first question is: what are these new rules?

The trailer wraps up with a visually stunning and carefully choreographed fight scene between Caine and John Wick.

They both keep shooting at each other at close range.

But that’s okay because they’re both fending off bullets with their katanas.

And yeah, Caine’s cool sunglasses don’t move an inch.

We never said it was practical.

Officially titled ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, this is the fourth installment in the John Wick franchise.

It stars Keanu Reeves as John Wick and Bill Skarsgård as Marquis.

Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick and Ian McShane all reprise their roles.

Reddick and McShane play Charon and Winston Scott.

They both work at the Hotel Continental, which is the location that the High Table uses as its HQ.

Last but not least, Fishburne plays The Bowery King, a former member of the High Table.

The movie is scheduled to be released on March 24, 2023.
