These YouTubers bought and restored a damaged Lamborghini Aventador to turn it into an ‘absolute animal’ at a very low cost.

They did it for less than half the price of a new model.

Right there are two things all car lovers can appreciate – a restored supercar and saving some money.

How did they pull it off?

Bringing a Lamborghini Aventador back to life

YouTube channel goonzquad were the ones to take on the challenge of reviving this supercar.

They’d documented their progress over the course of several videos and it’d turned out mighty impressive.

All that was left to do was the final touches like carbon fiber pieces and the inner fenders.

The team also set up a paint booth to give the car a final do-over.

They did so by installing a 60HP motor and converting power for the booth’s needs.

This may take ‘Go big or go home’ to the next level.

But it will be worth it in the end.

With all this work, you might expect the cost to be hefty at the end of this process.

But you’ll be surprised at how cheap it actually was.

Admittedly, it’s not quite as low in cost as the world’s cheapest supercar which came out at $38,000.

How much did the rebuilding cost?

All in all, the project came out at $223,024, which isn’t anything to be sniffed at.

The YouTubers even admitted it was their priciest project to date.

However, considering that SVJs often sell for between $500,000 and $600,000, this is a remarkably low figure.

Once they’ve finished off the final touches, they’re looking to sell it starting at a price of $480,000.

Again, this is a total bargain.

It doesn’t even begin to compare to the world’s most expensive car – the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic – which would be worth more than $150 million.

To see the YouTubers run through the numbers themselves, head over to their YouTube channel.
