Building a Lamborghini replica supercar and handing it over to a racing driver sounds exciting, right?

That’s exactly what a team of car enthusiasts did after working on the replica for over three and a half years.

The result? A thrilling mix of some good, bad, and ugly moments on the race track.

The Lamborghini copy wasn’t just about duplicating the design – it was built to perform, and the journey to get it ready was as dramatic as the test itself.

The Lamborghini replica’s interior alone took six months to complete, showing the dedication of the builders.

But that wasn’t enough for the car to handle the track.

The rear brakes and suspension were upgraded with parts from Infiniti and Nissan. Impressive, right? But there’s more.

They also reinforced the rocker panels to stop them from detaching and added stronger gas struts to support the heavier doors.

Then to modernize the car, they installed a $13 push-button starter.

The Lamborghini replica looked pretty good when they were finished with it, unlike this less-than-desirable Ferrari Enzo replica.

The story of this incredible build was covered on YouTube by The STREKAL, capturing all the behind-the-scenes challenges of the project.

The supercar passed the test without any major issues

One major hurdle was the weather, which delayed the race track test.

There were also struggles aligning the door gaps, but the team decided to move forward, focusing on the track test instead of perfection.

On the big day, a professional racing driver tested the car, and the ride closely resembled that of a real Lamborghini.

But he said that the car had the potential to perform even better.

Despite the setbacks and last-minute fixes, the car managed to complete hot laps without any major issues.

Overall, the replica was a success, similar to the DIY Lamborghini Aventador which looked exactly like the real thing.
