The McLaren 750S Project Viva uses Las Vegas as its main source of inspiration and applies that influence across the body of the 750S with a stripped-back monochrome approach.
Project Viva was created by McLaren Special Operations using hand-drawn artwork and custom paint developed for this build.
The model includes references to McLaren history as well as details linked directly to Las Vegas.
The design invites closer inspection as the artwork travels across the full shape of the McLaren 750S.

Viva Las Vegas, the McLaren way
Project Viva uses MSO techniques to guide the illustrated lines across the McLaren 750S.
The Sketch in Motion method forms the base of the artwork, which pulls inspiration from Las Vegas buildings, neon signs, and familiar cultural motifs.
The linework wraps around the 750S in a continuous direction, giving the surface a sense of movement.
This monochrome style removes the colour usually linked to Las Vegas and instead places the focus on structure and detail.

Project Viva introduces a new shade named Vegas Nights.
The colour looks black until direct lighting reveals cyan, magenta, and green particles.
Muriwai White appears in areas tied to early McLaren history, including the outline of Bruce McLaren’s Muriwai House.
These tones add variation without shifting away from the black and white presentation that defines the McLaren 750S Project Viva.

The bodywork includes references to both McLaren and Las Vegas.
Two dice show the founding years of each. Ten silhouettes represent McLaren championship seasons.
Bruce McLaren’s 1970 helmet appears inside a heart-shaped outline.
A Speedy Kiwi emblem sits on one side of the 750S, while an updated version is blended into the illustrated racetrack-style lines.

Las Vegas-themed elements appear across the surface of the McLaren 750S.
Neon-style arrows sit on the lower sections. A Welcome to Fabulous MSO graphic is painted on the bonnet.
A smaller Fabulous script appears beneath the rear wing.
Music notes stretch across the rear deck. Playing card art forms the 750S designation.

Circular tokens mark 120 years of Las Vegas.
Angular shapes reference well-known buildings in the city. A small cactus illustration marks the wider Nevada landscape.
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri added several hand-applied details to Project Viva.
These include the 10th Constructors Championship star and signed messages along the interior sills.
Their input adds a link between the McLaren 750S Project Viva and the current racing team.
What Project Viva means for McLaren
Project Viva shows how McLaren approaches one-off commissions through hand-painted work, tailored paint, and clear visual themes.
The addition of the Vegas Nights shade expands MSO’s paint library.
Using Las Vegas as a central theme shows how the group works with cultural and location-based ideas.
Contributions from the racing team add another point of context for the McLaren 750S Project Viva.

The model will be displayed at the McLaren Experience Centre at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel during Grand Prix week.
This setting so clearly matches the theme that shaped the project.
The McLaren 750S Project Viva presents a clear example of MSO design using simple colors, direct illustration, and focused themes to create a distinct version of the 750S.
It also shows how future McLaren commissions may continue to develop through place-based ideas and simple visual concepts.
