Lionel Messi buys four more condos near $9 million Porsche Tower unit, including one worth $7.5 million

Lionel Messi is expanding his real estate empire in Miami, Florida, with four more condos located a stone’s throw from his Porsche Tower penthouse.

The 37-year-old soccer star bought four more condos in the Cipriani Residences Miami, including one that’s worth $7.5 million.

And these apartments aren’t even finished yet.

If everything goes to plan, Messi will be able to set foot inside his brand new apartments in 2028.

Lionel Messi is buying Florida properties left and right

Lionel Messi is buying properties in Florida at a shockingly rapid rate.

He bought the first one just a couple of years ago and he now owns several.

His latest purchase includes four condos located on the top floors of the Cipriani Residences Miami.

The waterfront property features six penthouses and 68 homes spanning 18 floors.

Some of these abodes boast a 360-degree view over the Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay.

Messi already owns several homes in Florida, including a waterfront mansion located in Fort Lauderdale, multiple condos in Miami and the famous Porsche Tower he bought right after signing the contract to join the MLS.

He’s going to have to wait a bit to enjoy these new homes, though.

These apartments won’t be ready before 2028.

Inside Lionel Messi’s growing real estate portfolio

A couple of years ago, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo said goodbye to European soccer and moved on to more exotic locations.

Ronaldo went to Saudi Arabia, while Messi went to Miami, partly because Miami is closer to his homeland, Argentina, than France or Spain.

After signing a (very generous) contract with Inter Miami CF, a franchise owned (among others) by David Beckham, Messi went to a shopping spree and began buying properties.

He bought a mansion in South Florida and several condos in the Miami area, including the famous Porsche Tower one that comes with a car elevator.

Messi will be 38 soon, but he’s still expected to renew his contract with Inter Miami for at least one more season.

This is because his contract is set to expire in 2025, but Messi will likely only retire after the upcoming 2026 World Cup, which will take place in North America.

Most games will be played in the USA, but some will be played in Mexico and Canada as well.
