As both EVs and SUVs continue to rise in popularity, more and more carmakers are launching luxury electric SUVs.
This makes a lot of sense because the increased height and swollen dimensions of 4×4 means they can better accommodate the batteries.
But with so many models flooding the market, what really deserves your money?

5. Jaguar I-PACE – $71,300
There’s a lot to like about the Jaguar I-PACE.
Not only is it quick over ground, it steers precisely and rides beautifully.
It also looks beautiful inside and out.
The I-PACE, with its 90 kWh battery pack, has a range of up to 470 km (292 miles) and will accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.8 seconds.

The Mercedes-Benz EQC is the first all-electric vehicle designed from the ground up to be electric.
A classy luxury electric SUV, it’s not only great for the environment, but it’s also roomy, comfy and a brilliant drive.
The EQC, with its 80 kWh battery pack, has a range of over 322 km (200 miles) and will accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.1 seconds.
3. Volvo XC40 Recharge – $51,700
The XC40 Recharge is an all-electric version of Volvo’s widely popular XC40 small SUV.
It’s practical, comfortable, and a competent car, with surprising levels of acceleration and grip.

The BMW iX, with its 105.2 kWh battery pack, has a range of up to 507 km (315 miles) and will accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62mph) in 4.6 seconds.
