There are impressive car collections, and then there’s this $100 million collection in Australia, which takes it to another level.

The LEE Collection (Lance East Exotics) is a private collection of supercars in Perth, Australia.

It’s the proud possession of Laurence Escalante, an Australian-Filipino businessman and founder of Virtual Gaming Worlds.

The $100 million collection that you won’t believe is real

Escalante founded his online gaming network in 2010, but it didn’t pick up steam until the COVID pandemic in 2020.

That’s when he began amassing his jaw-dropping haul.

It’s safe to say that he’s gathered a lot in just a few short years.

YouTube channel DBTV Home of DAMMNN BATM4N TV paid a visit to Escalante’s huge garage to take a closer look.

Get your sunglasses out before you watch the video, because these cars are super shiny.

The first car up for show is a McLaren F1 GTR, one of two in the whole country of Australia, with the other in Melbourne.

Despite its intimidating look, Josh, who works at the Lee Collection, assured viewers: “It’s a puppy dog to drive. Your grandmother could drive it.”

Josh also showed the channel the first supercar Escalante ever purchased – the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider.

“Ferraris are a powerhouse of a brand in the way they operate,” Josh explained.

It’s certainly not the only Ferrari in the collection, or even in the country.

Escalante has more stored overseas.

The neverending car collection

As the video goes on, it’s easy to see how this collection racks up to be worth $100 million.

Virtually every big car brand is represented – Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Rolls-Royce, Bugattis, Porsches.

In the video, Lee summarised: “About a year ago, we were at about 49 cars, as we sit today, we’re at about 120-ish.

“In twelve months, if we don’t order another car, we’ll be about 190.

“We’re always actively looking, we get bombarded with cars weekly.”

In May, it was reported that he was selling 19 of his cars, each worth millions.

A superyacht was also going for $10 million.

This is a man who has money – and space – to spare for whatever car takes his fancy.

And it’s not just in Australia that millionaires are splashing their cash.

A former Royal Navy mechanic Rodger Dudding hit it big when he invented a ticketed queue management system and built up a $2.8 million car collection.

Who among us wouldn’t?
