This man sold his wife’s Lamborghini Huracán, but managed to replace the supercar-shaped hole in the garage with a surprise $268,000 replacement.
After the Huracán was no more, the replacement had to live up to the same standards, so the task at hand was no easy feat.
Choosing the replacement model took research, but after landing on the desired make and model, his wife was almost guaranteed to be happy.
However, before she could actually drive it, a few elements, like the color of the exterior shell, had to be altered

This man sold his wife’s Huracán but the replacement is set to be epic
The Lamborghini Huracán is arguably one of the best supercars that money can buy.
In fact, the car’s design was even based on ‘spiky hexagonal forms of the carbon atom’.
But one car enthusiast decided to replace his wife’s model with something even ‘better’.

YouTube content creator Tomi Auto is no stranger to getting behind the wheel of a fast car, but this time, the new set of wheels was going directly to his wife.
After owning a Lamborghini Huracán, his wife was about to be the proud new driver of a Ferrari, but not just any model.
Tomi had sourced a bright, classic red Ferrari 296.
His wife initially wanted a black one, but the creator joked that he used his ‘big brain’ and came to the conclusion that the red Ferrari has greater resale value than a black one.
So, it turns out that it was cheaper and more beneficial to get a red one and just wrap it in black for his wife.
But how did he know that his wife would actually like the car?

Well, it turns out that they had both previously toured around and looked at other Ferrari models, including the Pista, and the pair had previously driven one in Dubai too, with the 296 coming out on top.
The new 296 had carbon fiber elements all around the exterior and even some on the interior, too.
However, before he was set to surprise his other half, there were a few modifications that he wanted to make to the car.
Firstly, the exhaust needed to be changed to make the sound that the car produced different.
The wheels also need to be changed, with suspension lowering set to take place, as well as adding a ducktail spoiler.
So, there were still some elements that needed to be taken care of before his wife could take her new set of wheels for a spin.
Looking for a supercar? Chances are that you also considered a Ferrari too
When snapping up a supercar, there are a few main brands that tend to stick out to gearheads, and one of the most famous throughout time proves to be Ferrari.
From the Spyder to the Stradale, the models on offer are fierce.
Take the Ferrari F50 GT1, for instance, one owner even declined a $100M offer that would enable him to be the richest Ferrari seller ever.
Plus, one oil heiress from Texas loved her Ferrari so much that when she passed away in 1977, she was buried in her car.
