This man spent $15,000 building an RC Lamborghini with a real engine – and it actually runs.
Creator Chuanqi Engine had a goal in mind; he wanted to make a remote control Lamborghini with a fully functional engine.
If you can conceive of a micro-engine, you can imagine how much work would go into it.
Building a miniature V12 engine was no easy feat.

This man built an RC Lamborghini with a real engine
He fabricated the miniature V12 engine, showing the development of crankshafts, camshafts, pistons, and spark plugs.
There was no cutting of corners here; this was recreating the body of a full-scale engine in micro form.
The chassis, suspension, and drivetrain were all equally detailed, built to accommodate the real engine.

That’s not forgetting the body shell, which was sculpted and fitted, alongside the brakes and wheels.
When it was time to start up the engine, the tiny V12 roared to life.
The car was briefly driven, demonstrating that this car was moving and driving like the genuine article.
This wasn’t just a model car that would sit in a cabinet for its entire life.

All in all, this builder spent $15,000 on the project, which is a mighty big commitment.
Small but impressive – RC cars are all the rage these days
It’s really impressive to see what people are capable of when they put their minds towards a project.
This remote-controlled Audi cost $7,000 to create, and it really was built like a tiny version of a working supercar.
That was also the handiwork of Chuanqi Engine, incidentally, so he clearly has a knack for the craft – and plenty of cash to funnel into his talent.

But it’s not just cars that are getting the mini-me treatment.
Planes are also being created in miniature form, including the Boeing 787 and the Boeing 777X.
And let’s not forget helicopters – this Dubai man created one so fast that it almost looked fake when it took off.
