An incredibly expensive and rare Ferrari has been spotted parked on a rain-soaked street.
At first glance, it just looked like your average old car caught in bad weather.
But when people took a closer look, they realized it wasn’t the kind of car you would expect to see parked like that, let alone see out on the street at all.
The photo soon ballooned into one of those moments the internet couldn’t quite believe.

The $70 million Ferrari caught out in the rain
Reddit lit up after user Egoist-a posted photos of this $70 million Ferrari 250 GTO sitting out on a rain-soaked street.
Commenters didn’t take long to identify it: chassis 3387GT, the second GTO ever built.
Then sleuths dug even deeper.
Turns out, this Ferrari belonged to François Perrodo, better known online as @fanchracing, the guy with a collection so ridiculous other collectors joke he’s playing on a different difficulty level.

Bugattis, Maserati MC12s, three McLaren F1s, multiple 250-series Ferraris – all residing in his garage.
And he doesn’t hoard them.
Perrodo is a two-time Le Mans class winner who actually drives his cars, rain or shine.
So the internet’s most valuable soaked Ferrari wasn’t an accident.
It was just an average Tuesday for its owner.
Supercars in the wild
This spotting fits a pattern, too – ultra-rare machines showing up in places you’d never expect.
A Porsche 911 Dakar was spotted doing a school-run in Norway, backpacks and traffic instead of dunes and dust.

And in the UK, two McLaren W1 hybrid prototypes turned up outside a Morrisons grocery store, turning a normal shop into a $5.3 million car meet.
These moments blow up because they feel so unlikely, showcasing hypercars living ordinary lives.
And nothing feels stranger than seeing a machine like that just living a normal day.
