A US YouTuber was impressed with the condition of a BMW left in an auction yard – until he opened the door to look inside.

Mike, the host of the Monkey Wrench YouTube channel, was taking a look around when he came across this 2002 BMW 745i.

The biohazard sticker was enough to lure him into getting a closer look.

He may well have lived to regret it.

A closer look at the biohazard BMW

Right from the off, the car’s color strikes Mike as odd, as he admitted he’d never seen a BMW in this shade.

The best way to describe this car’s color would be somewhere between toothpaste and mint-chocolate ice cream.

It’s not for everyone, but different strokes for different folks, right?

However, the potentially divisive paint job is nothing compared to what lies within.

Whilst checking out the backseats, Mike got a good look at the biohazard in question.

“There’s your biohazard right here,” he remarked.

“That’s mold, and who knows what. Oh, that’s disgusting.”

The mold had taken over one of the backseats, but seemingly not spread much further from there.

As gross at it is, at least it didn’t make him gag – which some cars have done to people.

These guys were put through their ringer when sorting out this Honda Acura NSX which had become a home for mice.

Although he branded the car a ‘hot mess’, he admitted he liked it in a ‘weird way’.

It also seems that the car’s green exterior carries onto the interior, with the car’s ceiling having a greenish hue to it.

Evidently, quite a bit of money had been spent doing up this car, with an extra big rear view mirror put in place.

Signs of the car’s previous life are also still left inside, with a ticket to the Tulsa State Fair left in the driver’s mirror.

All things considered, the car didn’t give Mike too many surprises – besides the mold situation perhaps.

This 1969 Plymouth GTX had a $10,000 surprise waiting underneath the front seat, on the other hand.

We’d take that over some mold any day of the week.

What’s this YouTuber’s final verdict on the car?

When Mike attempts to take a look at the engine, he’s unable to reach the pull lever to open the hood.

The BMW 745i comes with a 4.4-liter V8, capable of generate 329hp and 332 pound-feet of torque, as reported by autoevolution.

Despite not being able to get a look at its engine, Mike was still laying praise on the car.

“Look at the goodness that this used to be!”, he told his viewers.

“Look at all that, stainless steel mesh even around the fog lights which have been changed.

“What a fun looking car.

“Back in the day, someone spent some money on her.”
