This YouTuber has found a unique use for an old Boeing 737 shell and will completely transform the fuselage into the ultimate nuclear fallout shelter, complete with a red phone box underground.
Set to be buried and added to the start of an epic underground space that the man has started to build, the shell needs to be completely rejuvenated and kitted out with the correct materials.
So, armed with tools and a plan, he got to work removing materials, including lashings of insulation, to really get the ball rolling.
Plus, when he was inspecting the interior of the aircraft, an unexpected discovery added a new heartwarming twist to the project.

This Boeing 737 has gone on quite the journey
The Boeing 737 is arguably one of the most talked-about jets of the century, thanks to its wide use within the aviation industry, with more than 2,800 of the jets in the sky at any given time.
In fact, the 737 has even carried around 30 billion passengers, which Boeing itself claims is the equivalent of every person on earth flying four times.

So, inspired by the Boeing jet, one creator decided to turn it into the ultimate underground bunker.
YouTuber Tornado Dave decided to purchase it and gut the inside, ready for it to be buried underground in a few months.
In the latest instalment of his transformation, he started to overhaul parts of the interior and purchase old airplane accessories to put inside the nuclear fallout shelter upon completion.

Airplane seats, windows, a trolley, and even a first aid kit were snapped up from a special parts dealer and memorabilia maker to really give the nuclear fallout a wow factor.
After inspecting the insulation, he found that some repairs had already been made to the body of the Boeing 737 fuselage.

However, he also found a hidden surprise that marked a milestone for one Boeing 737 flyer in the ultimate twist.

Deep in the fuselage, a personal touch was waiting to be discovered
After deep diving into every aspect of the plane, the creator found an unexpected and personal note, presumably from a crew member or even the captain on board the Boeing’s last-ever flight.
“In the galley at the back, I have found this,” he explained.

“Last flight BMI baby KB 05 September 2012, VCE, which I think is Venice Airport.
“What a great touch to put on a plane,” he concluded.
So, now the search is on to find the person who scribbled down the note, which, you have to admit, is a heartwarming touch.
The YouTuber has made a flying start to the nuclear fallout shelter, and as more elements are added, we’ll bring you updates.
