Maserati has launched its GT2 Stradale – a stunning street-legal, track-friendly supercar.
Unveiled during Monterey Car Week at The Quail in California, the GT2 Stradale blends the excitement of racing performance with the comfort and elegance you’d expect from a road-going Maserati.
‘GT2 Stradale brings flawless mechanicals, jaw-dropping engineering, and undisputed racing pedigree to the road,” the company says.
Sounds good, right?

The Maserati GT2 Stradale packs a punch
The luxury Italian car maker has had a busy few months – back in April this year it shared details of its $2.6 million electric yacht after teaming up with Vita Power.
Just last month, it announced it was marking two decades of its MC12 by releasing two special edition MC20s.
Prior to the release of the Stradale, Maserati teased that it would be a ‘one-of-a-kind car with an unmistakable aesthetic’.
They’re not wrong.
Based on the current MC20, the Stradale is lighter faster, and more aerodynamic.
In a press release, Maserati says the new motor is ‘a technical and stylistic partnership’ between the MC20 road car and the GT2 race car.
As you’d imagine from a car that Maserati describes as ‘barely’ road legal – it packs a punch under the hood.
The Stradale is fitted with a 3.0 litre twin-turbo V6 that produces 640 horsepower – 10hp more than the MC20.
It has a top speed of 320km/h and can go from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
The new car comes with plenty of customization options
Maserati has also heavily focused on the car’s aerodynamics, with the Stradale offering 500kg of downforce at 280km/h – compared to 145kg for an MC20 doing the same speed.
“At the wheel, the feeling will be one of driving one of the most incredible track cars there is, with the opportunity to make the best of it on roads all over the world,” Maserati says.
The car also comes with plenty of customization options with the lucky new owners able to choose packages dedicated to improving performance or giving the Stardale a bolder aggressive aesthetic, as well as various other specific configurations.
“Maserati GT2 Stradale is a unique product, bringing together as it does the brand’s greatest sporting heritage, and at the same time representing evolution of one of Maserati’s most iconic vehicles, the MC20 halo car,” said Maserati CEO Davide Grasso.
Doesn’t that sound exciting?
