Mat Armstrong offers Florida man his damaged MrBeast Lamborghini Gallardo for $30,000 and there's a crucial condition that makes him accept

Mat Armstrong isn’t afraid of crazy rebuilds of supercars like a Bugatti or Lamborghini, but even this Lamborghini Gallardo once used by MrBeast looked like too much of a challenge.

Armstrong, who has rebuilt a few cars, recently sold the supercar to friend and fellow YouTuber Jack Builds It.

Jack states that Lamborghinis is his dream car brand; hence, he was more than happy to accept Mat’s $30,000 ask for the Gallardo.

However, it clearly needs a lot of work.

Buying the $30,000 Lamborghini was a no-brainer

There were a couple of conditions that led to Jack getting his hands on this particular Gallardo.

Firstly, he was offered it some time ago, but the original offer was $95,000, which he could not afford.

But when Mat Armstrong offered him the car, it was just $30,000.

As part of that deal, he was also getting $35,000 in spare parts, a condition that made buying the car a no-brainer.

When Jack sorted through the parts, he realized there was a lot more to the car than he initially expected.

It does, however, raise the question as to why nobody else was able to restore the supercar.

That led to Jack giving the car a full assessment to see what was wrong.

What was wrong with the Lamborghini Gallardo?

Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for him to find out what was wrong with the car.

“There’s a lot of stuff we need to look at,” Jack said, as he began to give the car an inspection.

“When the door went backwards, it cracked the seam,” he said as he inspected the door sills.

There were some more obvious signs of the car’s real condition.

“I think the whole pillar came back from the impact of the door being ripped off,” said the YouTuber, referencing the MrBeast accident.

The A-pillar had also suffered some extensive damage.

“That’s not good,” he admitted.

But he also said that didn’t mean it wasn’t fixable.

Because the pillar had been moved back, it had led to deformation within the A-pillar.

The biggest problem, however, was what Jack found next.

This problem nearly ruined the whole rebuild

Jack and his team discovered that there was a large crack in the frame rail of the Gallardo.

That meant the previous repair had not been good enough and actually led to more damage.

With spare parts being expensive, it could have cost as much as $7,600 to repair.

Thankfully, Jack was able to source the spare parts from fellow YouTuber The Stradman, and traveled all the way to Utah to collect them.

“This means more than you know to me,” Jack said, thanking his fellow YouTuber and Lamborghini owner.

At the end of the video, Jack revealed that he wanted to get the car back on the road within a couple of months.

That would entail a huge amount of work and a lot of effort.

But it could be that this wrecked Lamborghini Gallardo has finally got the salvation it needed.
