Taking a closer look at Mat Armstrong’s car collection

Ed Bolian, from VINwiki, welcomed John Ficarra from Ficarra Classic to appraise Mat Armstrong’s car collection.

There were a lot of cars to look at, so let’s dive in.

First up, there was the Aston Martins, primarily a DB12 and a DBX 707.

Now, if you know anything about Armstrong’s YouTube channel, it’s that he is constantly fixing up cars that have been put through the mill.

And that was no different here.

The DB12 had been crashed, whilst the DBX 707 had been flood damaged.

However, once Armstrong worked his magic, they came out the other said worth $190k and $115-125k respectively.

His Audi RS6, which came back from front-end damage, was valued at $53k, while a Ferrari F430 that suffered from engine teardown was valued at between $140 and $150k.

His Lamborghinis racked up a considerable sum too – $350k for the Murciélago, $110k for the Gallardo LP560, $600k for the Aventador SVJ, and $575k for the Revuelto.

The Urus would fetch $160k, whilst the Aztec could bring in $150k.

And the story was the same for most of them, having come to him with some pretty substantial damage.

Other cars included the Maserati GranTurismo ($25k-$30k), McLaren 720s ($180K-$200K), Porsche 992 GT3 ($175k), Porsche 992 GT3 RS ($350k), and C63 AMG ($30k).

That’s a whole lot of number crunching.

How much was the collection worth in total?

When it came to the Rolls-Royces, the flood-damaged Cullinan was valued at between $200k and $250k.

And how about that Wraith, infamously owned by Marcus Rashford?

Thanks to it being restored and having a compelling backstory, it could have been $200k and $250k.

Total collection value was estimated at just over $3.5 million.

That said a lot about the cars themselves and the amount of work Armstrong had put into them.
