Mate Rimac has proven that his hypercars are far from garage queens by displaying the incredible mileage he’s clocked on a Bugatti Chiron and his Rimac Nevera.

As CEO of Bugatti Rimac, the popular hypercar enthusiast is very much of the opinion that cars are meant to be driven, not stored as trophies.

So much so that he has two daily drivers and makes sure to wave his company’s flag at any opportunity.

Now, he’s proven that hypercars are meant to be driven by showing over 125,000 miles covered in his two spectacular vehicles.

Mate Rimac flexes 200,000 miles of Bugatti Chiron and Rimac Nevera action

Although he’s been open about having a humble vintage car as his main mode of transport back and forth from the Bugatti HQ, the famous CEO is no stranger to getting behind the wheel of his best vehicles.

Taking to social media, he’s now shown fans that he’s a frequent flyer in the cockpit of both a Bugatti Chiron and Rimac Nevera, putting 125,000 miles on the clock between the two limited-production vehicles.

In a recent Instagram post, he showcased how his Rimac Nevera has 41,000 kilometers (25,000 miles) and is in pristine condition.

More incredibly, the Bugatti Chiron has 172k miles and still looks ‘brand new’.

“People think that hypercars are garage queens, but look at these two,” he said.

“Yep, we want all hypercars to be used,” he added.

More supercar icons are showing that their wild vehicles are meant for the road

Mate Rimac isn’t the only person adopting this philosophy, as more hypercar owners are realizing that, no matter the price, anything with four rubber wheels is meant for the road.

This is typified as the new owner of the $38M 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO wasted absolutely no time in getting the iconic car on the road – and he wasn’t gentle with the throttle either.

Rimac previously took to social media to claim that there’s nothing wrong with taking a hypercar out for the most simple of errands, never mind hitting the track, and it’s clear that this ethos is now catching on.

Rimac and Bugatti are hot on the assembly line with their upcoming Tourbillon and Bolide hypercars, and it’s no surprise that he wants to see them on the road, rather than at shows.
