“For the first time, four-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen will be competing in a GT3 race in the Green Hell and is among the favourites,” stated ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in a preview.
The car that could be his winning ticket consists of the Emil Frey Racing Ferrari 296 GT3, along with Chris Lulham, with both drivers previously taking on their first race two weeks ago.
Aside from Verstappen and Lulham tearing it up in a Ferrari GT3, 109 other cars will be competing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie this weekend.
Fans can catch the race via livestream on Saturday, September 27.

Qualifying starts at 8:30am and finishes at 10am, the pitwalk will commence at 10:20am, lasting until 11am, and the gridwalk will last from 11:10am until 11:30am.
Then the magic will continue when the race starts at 12pm and ends at 4pm.
Max Verstappen was previously spotted testing the Ferrari GT3 under an alias, reportedly breaking the record, but now he’s ready to take the lead and grab the top spot.
Verstappen is the ultimate not-so-secret gearhead
In light of his career, it will come as no surprise that the athlete is well into all things car-related.
In fact, the star’s personal collection includes an Aston Martin Valkyrie and even a DBS Superlegger.
Plus, his love doesn’t just stick to land either, and the amount that the star paid for his new superyacht will blow your mind.
