These men came across an abandoned Ferrari 458 and managed to restore it to make it look showroom new.
We all love seeing a car being rescued from falling into ruin.
And when it’s a stunning ride like the Ferrari 458, it’d be a travesty to allow it to rot away.
Fortunately, there are plenty of people out there willing to revive these beautiful cars.

The transformation of a Ferrari 458
In a video shared to the YouTube channel, OCR, a group of men approached an abandoned Ferrari 458, caked in dust.
There’s no telling how long it’d been left in this state, but things weren’t looking good.
It’s always sad seeing a gorgeous car being left to waste, as was the case with this Audi R8 that had been ditched for eight years.
A tail light was missing, but that was nothing compared to the interior.
To call it desolate would be generous – this was truly the bare bones of a car.
Evidently, these guys had their work cut out for them.
They loaded it up onto a trailer and shipped it off to their garage to get to work.
The first order of business was removing the engine and giving it a do-over.
The 458 is powered by an F136 V8 engine, which is capable of producing 562hp and 398Ib-ft of torque.
This juggernaut can reach 0-100km/h/0-62mph in an astonishing 3.4 seconds.
Over the course of the video, the OCR team got the engine looking spick and span again.
The formerly dirty black is rejuvenated in a fiery red – very Ferrari-esque if we do say so.
Taking on the car’s interior
A kit if the car’s interior needs replacing, including the dashboard and glove compartment.
New seating is brought in and the steering wheel is given the Ferrari touch, with the iconic horse logo front and center.
By the time these guys are through, it looks like a car worthy of the brand name.
Another lick of paint gives the exterior that extra bit of shine and then it’s done.
This is exemplary work.
You’d have had no idea that this 458 had been sitting gathering dust in a car park.
Ferraris are iconic no matter what – including this unique mobility scooter bearing the brand’s logo.
They even sound good, with this Ferrari F80 which sounded like it isn’t even there while blazing on the track at 351km/h (218mph).
