Michael Jordan and Cristiano Ronaldo both fly custom-liveried Gulfstream G650 jets.
In addition to both being world-famous athletes in their respective sports, these two legends are alike when it comes to transportation.
As two of the richest sportsmen in the world, it’s no wonder they’ve chosen to fly in style.
And not only that, but they’ve decided to add a signature touch to their respective planes.

Taking a closer look at the private planes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Michael Jordan
Ronaldo has been making big bucks for years now, and that’s not changed since he joined the Saudi football team, Al Nassr.
He reportedly netted $213 million in 2023, with an additional $63 million coming in from other business ventures.
His G650 has a reported value of $72 million and is marked with his initials CR7.
The plane can accommodate up to 19 passengers and can reach a range of 7,500 nautical miles.
As far as Jordan is concerned, his G650ER is designed to match the pattern of the newest Air Jordan sneakers.
The Jumpman logo (Used by Nike to promote Air Jordans) is featured on the plane’s body.
Even in the tail number, there’s a nod to the basketball great – NL236MJ.
Obviously, the ‘MJ’ is his initials, 23 was his jersey number and six was the number of NBA titles he won during his time at the Chicago Bulls.
As noted by the Robb Report, the G650ER has a range of more than 8,600 nautical miles.
Its cruising speed is 650mph, whilst its top speed comes out at over 700mph.
With a base price of $70 million, it’s already a big expense – but upgrades and customizations likely bumped it north of a $100 million price tag.
A wider look at celebrity private jets
It should come as no surprise, but celebrities have been making use of private planes for a long time.
Kim Kardashian, much like Jordan, makes use of a G650ER and has fitted it out with her own touches.
The interior has been decked out in cashmere and light wood, giving it a homey feel.
But some celebrity personal planes meet a surprising fate.
Case in point, Elvis Presley’s 1962 Lockheed 1329 JetStar private plane, which had been abandoned for years.
That is until YouTuber James Webb turned it into an RV and took it to McDonald’s.
