Retro and muscle have come together beautifully at SEMA as Mopar brought the Dude Ram and Sixpack Charger to life.

Both of these concepts paid tribute to the brand’s heritage while honoring its devotion to high-power engineering and striking looks.

The Ram 1500 ‘Dude’ drew inspiration from a 1970s truck trim, whilst the Dodge Sixpack Charger is a modern twist on classic performance.

And of course, they’re as eye-catching as you’d expect and instantly memorable.

Taking a closer look at the Dude Ram and the Sixpack Charger

The Ram 1500 Dude is essentially a homage to a 1970s truck trim called the ‘Dodge Dude Sport’.

In terms of appearance, this truck has a neon‐’Sublime Green’ exterior, black C-stripes, satin‐black 22-inch wheels, lowered stance, side-exit exhaust, black accents on mirrors, roof, and hood.

Oh yeah, and retro ‘Dude’ badging on the bed.

But don’t be fooled by the ‘Dude’ branding; the interior of this truck is pure class.

Black leather seats are punctuated with green stitching, whilst a lockable-in-console safe provides an extra perk.

The V8 engine at the heart of this green machine pumps out 395 horsepower.

And what of the Dodge Sixpack Charger?

This car is backed up by a 550-horsepower twin-turbo inline-six and is finished in a ‘Stryker Purple’ finish.

Body enhancements include a satin carbon-fibre hood, a splitter, a rear spoiler, wide vented fenders for wheel-well airflow, and a lowered stance by approximately 1 inch via a Mopar spring kit.

On the inside, the premium Katzkin leather seats are black with dual-color stitching (orange and purple).

If these two cars are any indication of what’s to come from Mopar, there’s a lot of cause to get excited.

Taking a wider view of the work of Mopar

Mopar has done a lot of impressive work over the years.

The company provides OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts for all Stellantis vehicles, which cover Dodge, Fiat, and Jeep, among others.

As such, vehicles covered under these brands are often taken into authorized shops for upgrades – and they really don’t skimp on quality or cut corners.

Even the cars sitting in a junkyard are still commendable in their own right.

Down in Florida, a shop built a 1400hp Mopar Demon Hemi that defied all logic.

And when a Mopar goes head-to-head with a Tesla, you best believe people sit up and pay attention.
