This guy got scammed when he tried to buy an electric sports car from China, a Mullen Qiantu K50, but he made the most out of the situation.
He thought he was buying a sports car, but received a tiny kei car instead.
He tried getting a refund, but to no avail.
So he decided to do something wild with the tiny car instead.

The story behind the fake Chinese sports car
Nick MacNeill, the guy behind The Inja YouTube channel, bought an electric sports car called the Mullen Qiantu K50 from China.
Or at least he thought he did.
The seller scammed him and sent him a kei car instead.
For reference, a kei car is an ultra-tiny passenger vehicle that’s very popular in Japan and also other markets in Asia.
He tried to get a refund, obviously, but that didn’t work out very well.
As a result, he ended up keeping car and using it occasionally.
Then he decided to modify the car in a way that we can only describe as ‘extreme’.
What he did to the car was wild
After giving up on the idea of getting his money back and sending the car back to China, The Inja came up with a plan.
He decided to modify the car and it now looks amazing, but also a bit ridiculous.
The tiny car is now fitted with gull-wing doors, a giant wing, (fake) carbon fiber components including a fake carbon hood and it’s painted gold.
We’re fairly sure it won’t be winning any design awards in the future, but it does look like a fun project.
By the way, there’s also another silver lining to this particular cloud, because he did eventually buy a real sports car.
