The sleuths of Reddit are at it again, as they help reveal the true identity of a mystery yellow supercar spotted on a Polish highway.

The photos as have looked like they were taken on a potato as they were taken from ‘far away’.

However, Redditors were still able to correctly identity it.

Plus, it seemingly took them just an hour to do it.

The mystery supercar

Posted less than 20 hours ago, the post on the r/whatisthiscar Subreddit was posted by Pursuk.

The post is titled ‘Spotted on a Polish highway’ and features three blurry photos of a yellow supercar being transported on a trailer.

The caption reads: “Sorry for the pic quality, from far away I thought it was a Countach but I don’t think so anymore. Help!”

In similar news – but in a very different condition – this mystery car found in Texas had people struggling to identify it.

Already identified

Already labeled ‘solved’, 19 hours ago – just an hour after the question was asked – the answer was posted.

Turns out that it’s a Lamborghini Jalpa.

The Lamborghini Jalpa is a sports car produced by the Italian luxury brand from 1981 until 1988.

It debuted at the 1981 Geneva Motor Show and was the last Lamborghini to use a V8 engine until the Urus SUV in 2018.

However, it’s ‘crazily similar’ to a De Tomaso Pantera, per one comment.

“Hey at least I got the brand right, thanks,” said the OP.

There was a lot of love for the Lamborghini Jalpa.

“I always loved the Jalpa. I was going to buy a local one for my first car 25 years ago, but my Hank-Hill-ass dad convinced me it was a bad idea.

“I bought a DeLorean instead. Totally should have gotten the Lambo,” read one post.

Another read: “It was SOOO eighties.”

If you’re a fan of an eighties automobile you’ll love this time capsule abandoned Ford dealership that still has new cars from that era inside.

It turns out that the distinctive eighties style is back in vogue, as a lot of new cars look like they have come from the era.
