This man turned up at a New Jersey dealership willing to trade his $1.9 million beach house to get his hands on a Lamborghini Huracán.

Lamborghini released the Huracán in 2014, replacing the Gallardo.

The Huracán became an instant icon, with Lamborghini receiving more than 1,000 orders before the car was even officially launched.

And one man in New Jersey was so keen to get one, he was even willing to swap his beach house.

He was willing to trade his beach house for a Lamborghini Huracán

The man visited luxury car dealership J&S Auto Haus, which is headed up by George J Saliba, who you might remember as the guy who unearthed a $20,000 secret inside a Mercedes SLR McLaren.

While the forecourt is packed with stunning motors, the buyer had his sights firmly set on just one car: the Lamborghini Huracán.

Chatting to Saliba, he mentioned that a few weeks back, he had been considering offering up his beach house in Toms River, New Jersey, in return for the car.

“We can still do it,” he offered.

To which a shocked Saliba replied: “Still trade it for a house?”

The man appeared to be deadly serious and asked Saliba if he happened to be looking for a beach house.

He explained that he didn’t live in the property and had bought it to flip it.

The Lambo-lover then revealed the house was on the market for $1.9 million.

“We would have traded this partially, and done a phenomenal deal on the house,” he added.

He then whipped out his phone and gave the car dealer a look at the beach house listing.

While the trade didn’t come off on this occasion, the buyer hasn’t been put off and cheekily joked that maybe he’d be able to arrange a similar deal for an Aventador in the future.

The Huracán is a V10 powered beast of a car

While you might not be willing to give up your house for one, the Lamborghini Huracán is an undeniably incredible vehicle.

Powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, it can produce over 600 horsepower and hit 0-60mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Lamborghini put the car to the test at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 2016, where a Huracán Performante prototype set a lap time of 6:52.01, making it one of the fastest production cars to ever take on the track.
