This New Jersey man bought a cheap Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG but made it look worth $250k with a fake Chinese body kit.
YouTuber Tavarish purchased a 2015 S65 AMG with the aim of turning it into its 2020 spec version.
When he first got his hands on the Merc, it was in a sorry state – with bad bodywork and an awful vinyl wrap.
By the time he was finished, you never would have believed it was formerly the cheapest model in the country – all thanks to a $5k body kit from China.

Freddy Tavarish Hernandez, better known on YouTuber as Tavarish, is known for his big car projects.
You may recall that he bought a $4,500 fake Bugatti Veyron from eBay and made a ton of money off it.
He also bought back his first car and rebuilt it in order to beat a Porsche in a drag race.

He’s even worked on a damaged Noble M12 GTO-3R and a Lamborghini Aventador hiding a big surprise.
So, suffice it to say, he knows his way around a car.
This Mercedes S65 AMG came to him looking a little worse for wear.
It had bad bodywork, a terrible vinyl wrap, and some mechanical issues that made it a perfect candidate for a rebuild.
And with a $5,000 body kit from China to hand, there was work to be done.
The kit contained things like bumpers, headlights, and tail lights, made from either plastic or carbon fiber.

By the time it was finished, the car looked like a million bucks.
Well…not quite.
But it looked like a $250k car, and that’s more than enough.
There was still work left to be done, but things were a long way from where they started.
The body kit itself looked immaculate, with a flawless white shine.
You couldn’t fault this car on looks, even if you tried.
When Rihanna sang ‘Shine bright like a diamond’, she was actually thinking of this car.

True story. Legal note: Not actually a true story.
