F1 film star Brad Pitt and Formula 1 racer George Russell have teamed up to unveil the new Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door Coupe in a wild Las Vegas stunt.

The flagship Mercedes-AMG range is set for yet another primed supercar.

This time, the AMG GT is arriving as a new four-door EV.

Showcased by Brad Pitt and George Russell in a spectacular movie scene advert, the camouflaged AMG GT 4-Door Coupe gave fans a taste of what they can expect – and it looks to be quite the beast.

New Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door Coupe revealed as an EV with a V8 soundtrack

The signature AMG range is Mercedes’ pride and joy, and they waste no time putting their new prototypes through rigorous waves of testing.

Hot off the back of the AMG ONE, the latest supercar off the production line is a four-door coupe fit for the most fearsome of drivers.

Revealed in today’s news, the low-riding long silhouette features a smooth roofline and rounded detailing. But it’s what’s under the hood that’s most intriguing.

The details of the powertrain are scarce, but Mercedes confirmed that three lightweight axial-flux motors will power the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe (two at the rear and another as a booster in the front).

A direct-cooled battery has been designed to maintain performance under maximum power output, borrowed from the Concept AMG GT XX.

The power output remains a mystery.

However, what was evident is that the new supercar, despite its electric nature, will growl and snarl like a V8 monster.

The car – and its noise – were on full display in a new star-studded ad.

Brad Pitt and George Russel take the new Merc around Las Vegas

As the leading poster boy for Mercedes racing, George Russell has landed himself in a number of the brand’s best cars, including his ‘dream’ AMG ONE.

With a clear taste for his team’s own cars, the spectacular British Formula 1 driver has now been given a run out in the four-door GT, courtesy of legendary actor Brad Pitt.

Serving as the ‘surprise valet driver‘, George Russell put his foot down to throttle the AMG GT 4-Door around a hotel (seemingly Caesar’s Palace) courtyard, erupting into a cloud of smoke as he threw in a few donuts for good measure.

“AMG has created something truly special here,” Russell said.

“I had an incredible day in Vegas with the Mercedes‑AMG GT 4‑Door Coupe prototype. The car feels fantastic, and I’m really impressed with the performance that AMG is bringing to the road.

“I think fans have something very special to look forward to.”

Brad Pitt, typical of his recent stunts, threw the new Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door into action to end the advert.

The new Merc supercar is set for release in 2026.
