When this woman spotted a flashy Mercedes-Benz in a parking lot, she soon realized it wasn’t quite what it seemed.

The white car, pristine and shining in the sunlight, had Mercedes-Benz symbols on the wheels and front grille.

It even had an S logo on the back, the trademark of the Mercedes S-Class.

But upon closer look, not all was as it seemed.

If in doubt, fake it out

The car was posted to TikTok by the user @thatjawn.rae.

And it turned out to be a sparkling white Nissan Altima sedan wrapped in Mercedes badging.

“Look at the Benz symbol!” the woman behind the camera said.

“See, that is the definition of fake it ’til you make it.”

While not quite a Mercedes, the Nissan Altima, was once a best seller.

It hurtled onto the car scene, making it’s debut back in 1993 – a 90s relic some may say.

A new Mercedes-Benz doesn’t come cheap

A brand spanking new S Class will set you back a mighty $117,750 alone, just with standard features.

But fear not, if you have a hand for DIY car badges, you could achieve the same look for less… almost.

A new Altima Sedan will leave your wallet happy, priced at just $27,000.

The 2025 Nissan Altima features a touch screen display and Apple car play integration too – what’s not to love?

It even has a Safety Shield 360 so no one can get their hands on it.

Online, people the video of the Nissan dressed as a Mercedes had people in stitches.

One person joked it was a ‘pound shop crafted Benz’

Another said ‘Manifest that Benz,’ while a third said she could ‘see the vision’ the owner was going for.

While it was a long way off the S-Class, we can’t deny it was a good 10-footer.

What’s a 10-footer? As Unofficial Anthony said; ‘from 10 feet away it looks pretty damn good’.
